Typical Adhesive Strengths

Epoxy: τ = 20–35 MPa

Acrylic: τ = 15–25 MPa

Polyurethane: τ = 8–15 MPa

Design Rules

Overlap: 5–20 × thickness

Peel: Minimize with double lap

Surface prep: Critical for strength
